Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-B-ET-EC-CN-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power section of a compact axis package, coordinating servo or induction motors in automated cells while handling speed, position, and torque loops through a separate control section. In material-handling lines, packaging machines, or light assembly stations, the unit supplies regulated power to the motor and passes feedback to the higher-level PLC that supervises the motion sequence.
The controller communicates with plant networks through a MultiEthernet port that supports several real-time fieldbuses without additional hardware. A control board labeled BASIC plugs directly onto the power stage and carries parameter memory and local I/O needed for standard motion tasks. Encoder feedback comes in on the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 channel, enabling single-turn and multi-turn position evaluation, while a second bus, CANopen, provides device-level diagnostics or expansion to decentralized I/O racks. The power stage sources up to 3 A of peak output current, so it is intended for low-power axes such as small pick-and-place actuators. The incoming supply must be three-phase 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%. Internal rectification feeds the shared DC bus when the unit is configured as “Infeeding,” or the unit can operate in a passive mode labeled “Feeded.”
Thermal management relies on internal air cooling with an integrated blower that moves cabinet air across the heat sink. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it is mounted inside an electrical enclosure where touch-safe protection is provided by the cabinet door. For functional safety, the base hardware includes STO; removing the enable line disables torque-producing power to the motor without cutting mains, allowing category-appropriate stop responses. No additional design options are fitted, and the unit is version 1.
