Ask for AvailabilityThe Bosch Rexroth Indramat HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series and serves as a drive controller. It features a MultiEthernet communication interface and supports encoder interfaces such as IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2. The controller operates with a device peak current of 3 Amps, has an IP20 rating, and uses an internal air cooling method through an integrated blower.
Internal Product Review
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller with MultiEthernet communication and IP20 protection. Internal blower cooling and a 3 A peak current support stable performance in light-duty motion applications. Support for IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 feedback is a strong integration advantage.

Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. In an automation cell, it supplies regulated power to a single low-power servo axis while relaying motion commands from higher-level control logic. This role lets the drive manage torque and speed on short-cycle machinery where precise starts and stops are needed. That arrangement supports coordinated movement in pick-and-place units, indexing devices, and compact conveyor stations without requiring a separate amplifier module, and it also helps conserve cabinet space where only one small axis must be controlled.
The control section communicates over MultiEthernet, allowing connection to plant networks that use common industrial Ethernet protocols. Heat from the power electronics is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so external ducting is not required. Peak motor current is limited to 3 A, making the unit suitable for fractional-kilowatt servo motors used on light-duty axes. The housing has an IP20 protection class for installation inside a protected enclosure. The controller operates from 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, which lets the same unit work on either 120 V or 230 V mains systems.
Power is exchanged with the DC bus through an infeeding and fed supply stage, which allows shared energy use between compatible drives on the same rail. This arrangement supports shared-bus layouts in which multiple axes can exchange energy during acceleration and deceleration. Motor feedback is accepted through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, supporting accurate commutation and closed-loop control without an external converter. The hardware version is identified as Design 1, indicating the first mechanical revision of this drive platform. It is paired with a BASIC control section for standard drive functions in compact single-axis applications.
