Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-S4-NN-FW is a drive controller from the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Positioned as a compact single-axis control unit, it converts PLC setpoints into phase-aligned motor power for automated handling, packaging, and machining equipment. It coordinates current and control functions so the connected motor can follow commanded motion with stable speed and torque behavior. The controller also manages operating states on the drive bus, making it suitable for machines that need accurate axis response without a large cabinet footprint.
This controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 110 to 230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 3 A of peak output to the connected inverter stage. Thermal control uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which moves air across the heat sink to remove losses from the power electronics during normal operation. Motion data is exchanged over a SERCOS III master connection, and Interface 1 supports IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1 / 2.2 encoder compatibility for position feedback. This arrangement allows the controller to communicate with several common motor feedback formats without requiring a separate feedback module. The unit is part of the HCS01 line, which is intended for low-power single-axis tasks in cabinets where space is limited and wiring must stay straightforward.
The installed control section is classified as ADVANCED, which provides added processing capacity for synchronous multi-axis interpolation and drive-to-drive cross-communication. The housing has an IP20 enclosure rating, so the controller is intended for installation inside a protected electrical cabinet rather than in an exposed machine location. Power is exchanged with the DC bus through an infeeding and fed supply stage, which allows recovered energy to be returned during deceleration instead of being dissipated at the axis. The product is design version 1, and Interface 2 is not populated on this version. That layout keeps the control section focused on the primary feedback channel and avoids unused connection points.
