Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-CC-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This compact unit supervises low-power servo axes by converting line supply energy into controlled three-phase output while exchanging status data with higher-level PLCs. Within an automation cell, it manages positioning, speed regulation, and drive diagnostics, serving as the electrical interface between motors and the control architecture. This makes the unit suitable for compact handling systems, indexing stations, and other machines that rely on coordinated servo motion.
The controller is delivered with an ADVANCED control section, so its internal signal processor and memory support multi-axis interpolation and diagnostic routines. Its mains input accepts 3 × AC 110–230 V ±10 %, which allows installation on utility networks common to light machinery. A device peak output of 3 A lets the unit accelerate and decelerate small servomotors without requiring an external braking resistor in many compact applications. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, which eliminates the need for cabinet ducting. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a protected electrical compartment while still providing fingertip protection against live parts.
For networked motion, the drive offers a SERCOS III master with cross communication port that synchronizes command cycles with neighboring drives. Motor feedback is read through IndraDyn Hiperface / EnDat 2.1 / 2.2 encoder support on Interface 1, while Interface 2 and the safety interface are not equipped. The internal DC link uses an infeeding and fed supply concept, allowing regenerated energy to be shared with other axes on the same link. The unit is built to Design Version 1 of the HCS01 line.
