The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-L3-NN-FW is a modular drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an axis inverter, it links servo motors to higher-level motion platforms and supplies regulated power, feedback handling, and safety functions for industrial automation lines, pick-and-place gantries, and packaging machinery. Its compact HCS01 format supports installation in control cabinets where depth is limited, and the design is suited to machine sections that need responsive axis control without a large drive footprint. This makes it appropriate for smaller servo axes that still require coordinated communication and integrated control features.
This controller operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, allowing direct connection to low-voltage factory mains. Internally, it can deliver up to 3 A of peak output current, which suits low-power IndraDyn synchronous motors used on auxiliary axes and similar motion tasks. Thermal management uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so cabinet air is circulated across the heat sink without external ducting or separate cooling hardware. Motion commands are exchanged through a SERCOS III master with cross communication channel, which supports real-time data exchange between drives for synchronized operation. All axis functions run on an ADVANCED control section that provides expanded processing for interpolation, diagnostics, and embedded safety tasks.
Position and velocity feedback enter through the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, while higher-level PLCs can also reach the unit through MultiEthernet, which supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT networks. Housing protection is rated IP20, so the controller is finger-safe when installed inside a suitable enclosure. Emergency stop circuits can remove torque through STO (Safe Torque Off), which is integrated into the base hardware. The unit is version 1 and is supplied with an infeeding power module. The controller is intended for cabinet installation, and its integrated interfaces allow motion control, network communication, and safety shutdown functions to be handled within the same platform.
