The HCS01.1E-W0003-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as the axis regulator in small automation cells by converting motion commands into controlled current for servo or induction motors. Installed in an enclosed cabinet, the unit helps coordinate conveyor lanes, pick-and-place arms, and other low-power motion axes. This arrangement allows the drive to support regulated speed, torque, and position control during repetitive machine cycles. Its compact format is useful where panel space is limited but coordinated motion control is still required.
Its communication interface is SERCOS III master with cross communication, which supports deterministic data exchange among coordinated drives. The fitted control section is classified as ADVANCED, allowing expanded motion functions without an additional option card. Thermal management uses a built-in air blower that moves cabinet air across the heat sink. During acceleration, the power stage can supply a peak phase current of 3 A, which matches small motor loads. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, so the controller must be mounted inside a protective cabinet.
The controller accepts a supply range of 3 x AC 110 to 230 V ±10%. It belongs to the HCS01 line, so it matches the mechanical format used by other modules in that platform. Two identical feedback sockets process Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 signals, allowing absolute position data and commutation information to be handled through the motor feedback connection. Energy is exchanged through the DC bus during operation. The unit is fixed at design version 1, and the safety interface is not equipped, so external circuitry must provide functions such as Safe Torque Off when required.
