Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-03-B-ET-EC-CN-S5-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It is intended for coordinating servo axes and regulating motor speed and torque in automated machinery. By combining mains conversion, motion processing, and fieldbus communication in one housing, the unit simplifies cabinet layouts in general-purpose automation cells, packaging machines, and material-handling stations.
The controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 200–500 V ±10%, enabling use on low-voltage or medium-voltage industrial networks without an autotransformer. Its device inverter can deliver up to 18 A of peak output current for short acceleration events before returning to continuous limits. Control parameter data and diagnostics are transferred through a MultiEthernet port that supports several Ethernet-based protocols, which simplifies integration with different PLC platforms. Thermal energy is removed by an internal blower, which supports installation in tight control enclosures. The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be mounted inside a cabinet to reduce dust exposure and prevent accidental contact. The electronics use a BASIC control section, so the unit provides standard motion functions without advanced technology options.
System wiring is reduced by the second fieldbus channel, a CANopen node that handles I/O expansion or legacy controller links. Encoder feedback is processed through the multifunction port for the IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder, allowing the drive to work with several common feedback formats. The drive belongs to the HCS01 line, which matches its compact mechanical format and 1 kW power class. Power is taken from or returned to the DC bus through an infeeding / fed supply section, allowing common bus configurations with shared regenerative energy. Design version 1 identifies the initial hardware release.
