Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It conditions incoming three-phase power and converts it into controlled output for IndraDyn and compatible third-party servo motors in cabinet-based automation systems. Its integrated control electronics link fieldbus commands with the power stage so the axis can maintain commanded torque and velocity during packaging, handling, and processing tasks. That combination lets one unit manage both network communication and motor power control inside a multi-axis cabinet.
It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10% and can deliver up to 18 A of peak current to a connected axis. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so the cabinet does not require external ducting for this controller. The housing has an IP20 rating, which is intended for installation inside enclosed control panels. Functional safety is provided by STO (Safe Torque Off), which disables drive output without removing incoming power. Command and diagnostic data are exchanged over Multi-Ethernet, allowing connection to common industrial network environments.
The power section is an infeeding and regenerative module, so it can draw energy from the mains and return regenerative energy to a shared DC bus during deceleration. It uses a BASIC control section matched to this controller configuration. Position data enters through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, allowing the unit to work with supported motor feedback systems. A second encoder port is not populated on this version, so the controller is intended for applications that do not require dual feedback channels. The unit is built as design version 1 for this platform.
