The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Designed as an axis inverter for low-power stages, the unit converts the incoming three-phase supply, regulates motor current, and exchanges status data with higher-level PLCs during operation. Within an automated line, it provides closed-loop speed, torque, and position control for compact handling modules, indexers, and auxiliary process drives. It belongs to the HCS01 line and supports modular control sections and power supplies matched to individual machine layouts.
Electrical input is a balanced three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, allowing the controller to be mounted on systems fed by standard low-voltage distribution networks. During dynamic acceleration, it can source up to 13 A of peak output current to the connected motor phases. Heat generated by switching transistors is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is necessary inside the cabinet. The housing carries an IP20 rating, which provides finger-safe protection but requires installation in an enclosure. For communication, a MultiEthernet port supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT without additional option cards, allowing flexible network integration.
The power section is paired with a BASIC control board in version 1, which executes motion profiles and manages parameters. Feedback from synchronous or asynchronous motors is accepted through the IndraDyn, Hiperface, and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, while the second encoder slot is left empty, which keeps the configuration focused on a single feedback channel. DC link energy is supplied by an infeeding power module, so the device can share regenerated power with adjacent axes. Safety and additional fieldbus interfaces are not fitted, so the controller remains focused on its basic motion and network functions.
