Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0013-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-NN-NN-FW is a compact drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. Installed in a control cabinet, the unit forms the power and regulation core between the line supply and servo, linear, or induction motors. It converts command data into precise current and voltage patterns that govern motion profiles in automated machinery and handling systems. This allows the drive to support accurate speed, torque, and position control on individual machine axes.
For power entry, the controller accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, enabling operation from low-voltage industrial networks. The power section can deliver up to 13 A of peak current to the connected axis, providing short-term headroom for acceleration or load changes. All electronics reside in an IP20 housing that permits cabinet mounting while still requiring a protected installation area. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so the built-in fan moves air across heat-dissipating components without external ducting. Position feedback is processed through the first encoder port, which supports IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder protocols, allowing high-resolution feedback devices to connect directly to the drive.
Multi-axis synchronization is enabled by the integrated SERCOS III master with cross communication, which allows several HCS nodes to exchange real-time data without a separate motion controller. For legacy cell integration, a second channel based on PROFIBUS transfers diagnostic and setpoint information to PLCs and other plant controls. The controller uses the ADVANCED control section, which provides expanded processing capability for complex interpolation tasks and coordinated motion functions. Its power module is specified for infeeding and fed operation, so recovered braking energy can be returned to a shared DC bus instead of being dissipated as heat. No functional safety interface is included.
