The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-L4-AA-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It forms the power and control interface between an AC supply and synchronous or asynchronous motors used in factory automation. This arrangement lets the connected axis regulate speed and torque during conveying, indexing, and other motion sequences. The unit uses a BASIC control section, making it suitable for standard single-axis tasks in a compact panel-mounted format.
The control platform exchanges data with higher-level PLCs over MultiEthernet, so PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT networks can reach the device without additional hardware. This helps the controller fit into different plant network standards while keeping the communication interface on one platform. The power section accepts a three-phase input of 3 × AC 110…230 V ±10%, and the inverter can deliver up to 9 A of peak current during acceleration or short overloads. Internal heat is removed by an integrated blower that provides continuous air circulation, and the housing has an IP20 rating for cabinet installation. Functional safety is handled by integrated STO and SBC channels, which interrupt torque production and control brake release through certified logic.
Position feedback is handled through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, allowing connection of high-resolution absolute or incremental encoders without extra option cards. This gives the controller direct access to motor position data for closed-loop operation. Interface 2 is left vacant. The DC bus uses infeeding and fed operation, so the controller can absorb regenerated energy from braking axes or share power with neighboring axes. The unit is built as design version 1 within the HCS01 series.
