The HCS01.1E-W0009-A-02-A-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-FW is a compact drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It delivers regulated DC bus power and axis control to small and mid-range servo motors used in packaging, handling, and assembly machinery. The unit is intended for installation inside a control cabinet and combines a power section with an internal control section, allowing a higher-level PLC to access motion functions through standard communication links. This arrangement keeps power conversion and motion control in one housing, which is useful where cabinet space is limited and coordinated axis behavior is required.
The power stage handles a peak current of 9 A, allowing short torque bursts without immediately reaching protective limits. It connects to a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10%, which supports a broad range of plant mains conditions. Thermal losses are removed by internal air cooling, so airflow passes across the heat sink without requiring external ductwork. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating and is intended for use inside clean electrical cabinets. The integrated control section is the ADVANCED version, which supports expanded diagnostics and motion functions for more demanding axis tasks.
For coordinated motion, the controller offers a SERCOS III master channel that supports direct cross-communication between drives on the network. Motor feedback is handled through an Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 interface, allowing connection to compatible Rexroth feedback systems. General automation communication can run over the integrated MultiEthernet port, which allows the unit to interface with common plant control networks. The controller is released as design version 1. This combination lets one device handle motion communication, feedback input, and network connectivity without requiring separate interface modules.
