Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. This compact unit links a machine’s electrical supply to a servo or induction motor and performs vector control, current regulation, and diagnostic tasks needed for coordinated motion. In automated cells, it provides the closed-loop execution layer that follows setpoints from programmable logic controllers and returns status data to higher-level control systems. It is intended for compact cabinets where a small drive still needs coordinated current, speed, and diagnostic capability in one device.
For plant integration, the controller offers a MultiEthernet interface, so one hardware port can operate with PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT, depending on the PLC network used on the machine. Power is accepted from a three-phase supply rated at 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, and the internal power stage can deliver a device peak current of 6 A during acceleration or other short load transients. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required and cabinet layout remains straightforward. The housing has an IP20 rating, which provides finger-safe access but requires cabinet installation because it does not protect against liquids.
The controller uses the BASIC control section, and the electronics are identified as Design Version 1. Motor feedback is processed through an IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface, while the second feedback connector is left unpopulated to keep wiring simple and avoid an unused feedback path. DC link energy is exchanged through an infeeding and fed power supply arrangement, allowing regenerative power to be shared with adjacent drives on the same system. No integrated safety interface is included on this unit, so only the standard motion and feedback functions are present.
