Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW, a drive controller positioned within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it supplies and regulates the energy exchanged between the mains, the intermediate DC bus, and connected servo axes, making it a central component in compact automation cabinets. This arrangement allows one module to manage power flow and controlled axis operation in a space-saving installation. Communication with higher-level PLCs is provided through MultiEthernet, enabling selection among several industrial Ethernet protocols without hardware changes.
The controller operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver a device peak current of 6 A to the motor inverter stage. Functional safety is integrated by the STO (Safe Torque Off) interface, which removes drive torque during hazardous events and supports safer machine shutdown behavior. An enclosure rating of IP20 limits use to protected control cabinets, and the module is identified as design version 1 inside the HCS01 line. The unit is paired with a BASIC control section, which keeps the control and power arrangement aligned within the same platform.
Thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required for normal duty cycles.
