Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-PB-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It governs servo axes in compact machinery and conveyor stages by converting incoming three-phase power into controlled motor currents for precise motion control. The unit is design version 1 and is supplied as a power section that can operate either as an infeed or as a fed unit, depending on the system topology. It pairs only with an ADVANCED control section, which supports the safety, communication, and feedback functions used in multi-axis automation.
The unit draws power from a mains supply of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10% and can deliver a device peak current of 6 A to support transient motor acceleration. Internal thermal management relies on internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so heat is dissipated without a separate external blower. For functional safety, the hardware includes STO and SBC, permitting immediate torque removal and brake actuation through the drive rather than external relays. Protection is limited to IP20, so the controller must be installed inside a closed panel where it is shielded from accidental contact and contamination.
Real-time motion commands move over a SERCOS III master link that also supports cross-communication between coordinated drives. Motor feedback wiring connects through a multi-protocol port that supports Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, enabling absolute position evaluation without additional converters. PLC integration is provided through the dedicated PROFIBUS connector, while higher-level diagnostics run through the same backplane. This communication layout allows the controller to coordinate axis behavior, exchange operating data, and process motor feedback within compact automation systems.
