The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EM-L4-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It supplies regulated power to servo or induction motors so that automated axes follow commanded speed and torque profiles in industrial assembly lines, pick-and-place stations, and compact packaging equipment. The unit is part of the HCS01 line and uses design version 1, which places it in a compact controller format for low-voltage three-phase systems. It can be used with servo or induction motors, depending on the needs of the axis.
A built-in SERCOS III master handles deterministic cross-communication between multiple drives and the machine PLC. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 110–230 V with a tolerance of ±10% and can deliver a peak output of 6 A, allowing moderate-power axes to accelerate without current foldback. Thermal energy is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, so no external ducts are needed inside the cabinet. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, which suits protected control cabinets while still permitting front-panel wiring. The unit can operate as a stand-alone infeed or be supplied from an upstream DC bus, which adds flexibility when multiple axes share energy across the system.
The controller uses the ADVANCED control section, as indicated by the A in the ordering code. This section supports extended motion functions and works with feedback supplied through the Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 input or an auxiliary Encoder emulation channel for legacy interfaces. Machine safety is addressed by integrated STO and SBC circuits, which remove torque and control the motor brake without external relays. These control and feedback options allow the same drive platform to support both newer motor feedback systems and existing interface requirements in mixed-machine installations.
