Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW drive controller for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. As an HCS drive controller, it links the mains supply, the motion-command network, and the motor feedback chain in compact machines and test stands. This arrangement lets one unit handle power conversion, command exchange, and feedback processing for controlled axis motion. The device belongs to the HCS01 line and version 1 of the mechanical platform, which helps keep the cabinet footprint small while still supporting coordinated motion functions in industrial automation cells. Integrated safety circuitry allows immediate torque removal during emergencies and supports safer shutdown of the connected axis.
Within the compact HCS01 platform, the controller accepts 3 x AC 110...230 V ±10% on three phases and can deliver up to 6 A of peak current at the output stage. Thermal limits are managed by internal airflow from an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required. The housing carries an IP20 rating and therefore must be installed inside a closed cabinet. Command and diagnostic data move through a SERCOS III master port that supports cross-communication among axes and fast data exchange with the control system. A certified STO channel interrupts the power stage when the emergency stop loop opens, removing hazardous torque without using mechanical contactors.
The control section fitted to this device is the ADVANCED variant, which supports motion functions beyond those available in the basic section. Feedback is processed by two ports: the primary input accepts Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 signals, while a secondary output provides Encoder emulation for older equipment that requires simulated incremental tracks. The power section supports infeed/feed operation, allowing regenerated energy to be shared on the DC bus. This setup helps the controller work with coordinated drive groups that exchange braking energy during dynamic motion.
