Product Description:
The HCS01.1E-W0006-A-02-A-CC-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. The unit is version 1 and is used in modular motion systems that require coordinated control of servo axes. As a drive controller, it conditions incoming three-phase power and modulates output current for IndraDyn servo axes, enabling coordinated torque, speed, and position control on packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and similar automated stations. It is suited to compact machine layouts where several axes must respond quickly to changing motion commands and load conditions.
Electrical service requirements include a line supply of 3 x AC 110–230 V ±10%, which supports low-voltage cabinets without a separate transformer. The unit can deliver up to 6 A of peak output, so axis selection must keep dynamic current demand within that limit. Heat is removed by internal air cooling through an integrated blower, and the enclosure has an IP20 rating for finger-safe installation inside a protected panel. This cooling arrangement avoids external ducting and keeps the controller suitable for enclosed cabinet mounting. When emergency stops are commanded, the dedicated safety interface activates STO (Safe Torque Off) to remove drive-generated torque without cutting mains power.
Higher-level control is handled through a SERCOS III master with cross communication channel that permits deterministic traffic between multiple drives. Feedback from connected motors enters through two identical Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 ports, allowing dual-loop operation or daisy-chain wiring. Using two feedback inputs also supports applications that need separate motor and load-position signals for tighter control. All power sections use the shared DC-bus supply concept, so the device draws DC-bus energy from a common source rather than rectifying each module separately. The control section uses the ADVANCED variant for the specified control configuration.
