The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-E-S3-EC-EP-NN-NN-FW is a compact servo drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for cabinet installation, the unit regulates current, voltage, and feedback signals so electric actuators can follow commands from a machine control system in industrial automation. By converting three-phase mains power into precisely modulated output, it supports accurate positioning, stable speed control, and coordinated motion in packaging lines, pick-and-place cells, and assembly platforms. Its compact format also suits control cabinets where drive density and orderly wiring are important.
Mains supply to the controller can range from 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10%, allowing operation on a wide range of industrial power systems. The integrated power stage delivers up to 5 A of peak current, which suits small servo motor applications and helps keep thermal load manageable inside the cabinet. Cooling is handled by internal air cooling from a blower, so no external heat exchanger is required. Protection is provided by an IP20 enclosure, which means the drive must be installed inside a closed cabinet. Real-time axis commands are exchanged through SERCOS III, and the first feedback channel accepts IndraDyn Hiperface or EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder feedback for position evaluation. The HCS01 line groups this model with other 45 mm wide drives that use the same terminal layout.
The control section is the ECONOMY variant, which identifies the feature set used for this drive. The unit is built in design version 1. Energy is exchanged with the DC link through an infeeding and feeding power supply arrangement, so the drive can supply energy to a shared bus or receive it from neighboring axes. No integrated safety interface is included. This configuration is suited to installations that already manage safety functions elsewhere in the machine system.
