The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EP-L4-NN-FW is an HCS01 line drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It serves as a compact power and regulation module for servo or induction motor applications in automated machinery where stable drive behavior is required. By conditioning three-phase mains power and directing it to the connected motor, the unit supports precise speed, torque, and position control in assembly cells, material-handling stations, and packaging equipment while remaining integrated with the machine control system.
Machine communication is handled through MultiEthernet, so the drive can connect to EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT networks through the same interface. The control section is classified as BASIC, which supports standard parameter handling, motion profiles, and diagnostic functions. The power stage accepts 3 × AC 200–500 V mains, allowing use across several common industrial supply ranges. During acceleration peaks, the inverter can supply up to 5 A of motor current while staying within its thermal limits. The enclosure rating is IP20, so the unit is intended for installation inside an electrical cabinet that protects it from accidental contact and falling debris.
Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, using an integrated blower to move air through the heat sink without external ducting. The feedback connector supports Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2, which allows the controller to work with compatible absolute encoders from the IndraDyn motor family and maintain high-resolution position data for closed-loop operation. DC-link energy exchange uses the supply concept Infeeding / Fed, so multiple drives can share regenerative energy on a common supply arrangement without additional braking resistors. Functional safety is addressed through STO and SBC channels, which allow torque to be disabled and the motor brake to be controlled during emergency stops or service work.
