The HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-B-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and delivered under the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It acts as the power and control link between IndraDrive power modules and compatible synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. The unit supervises torque, speed, and position control while exchanging data with higher-level PLCs for coordinated machine motion. This makes it suitable for applications that require accurate axis control in compact control-cabinet installations.
The power stage accepts 3 × AC 200…500 V ±10% from a three-phase source, so it can operate on common industrial mains without a separate transformer. For short acceleration events or changing load conditions, the inverter can deliver a peak output of 5 A. Network communication is handled through MultiEthernet, which allows connection to PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT masters without extra interface hardware. Cooling is provided by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so no external ducting is required at the controller itself. The enclosure carries an IP20 rating, which is intended for use inside a protected control cabinet where direct contact and contamination are limited.
The controller is configured as an infeeding or fed supply module within the HCS01 platform and uses the BASIC control section. Its dual-channel feedback interface supports IndraDyn Hiperface and EnDat 2.1 / 2.2 encoders, allowing it to read motor position data from several compatible feedback systems. A built-in encoder emulation output allows connection to equipment that requires replicated feedback signals for synchronization. For safety-related shutdown, the integrated interface provides STO (Safe Torque Off), which removes motor torque without requiring separate external contactors.
