Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat HCS01.1E-W0005-A-03-A-CC-EC-EC-L3-NN-FW is an HCS drive controller in the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series. It acts as the power and motion-control stage between the plant supply and servo motors used in automation cells, conveyors, and handling modules. In closed-loop motion systems, it regulates motor current so connected axes can respond accurately to speed and position commands. The unit operates within the HCS01 line and is built in Design Version 1, which gives it a standardized housing format within this platform. The controller is equipped with the ADVANCED control section, which supports extended motion functions for coordinated axis control.
Communication with higher-level control systems takes place over SERCOS III master with cross communication, allowing cycle-synchronous command and diagnostic data to travel on a real-time fiber-optic ring. The power stage accepts 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10% input and uses internal air cooling through an integrated blower to remove heat from the electronics without external cabinet openings. Peak output current reaches 5 A, which suits low-power servo axes such as grippers and small tooling spindles. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so it is intended for installation inside a control cabinet rather than for direct exposure to liquids or washdown conditions. The integrated safety interface supports STO (Safe Torque Off) for rapid torque shutdown when the application requires a safe removal of motor torque.
Feedback handling is arranged through a shared IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 encoder interface. Both interface channels can process the supported sensor types on primary or auxiliary axes, which keeps feedback handling consistent across compatible motor connections. The power section supports infeeding or fed operation, so the unit can either supply energy to a common DC bus or draw energy from it in a multi-axis arrangement. This operating mode fits systems in which several axes share power and exchange energy through the same drive network.
