Product Description:
The FVCA01.1-7K50-3P4-MDA-LP-NNNN-01V01 is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the FVCA Frequency Converters series. Designed for cabinet installation, this AC drive converts a fixed mains supply into a regulated output for closed-loop or open-loop motor operation in automated material handling, machining, and HVAC systems. It connects directly to control systems through Modbus communication while also providing a built-in potentiometer for local speed trimming. This arrangement allows the drive to support both networked control and simple manual adjustment at the unit.
The converter is designed for a three-phase supply of 380 to 480 V AC and regulates around a nominal bus of 400 V. Under rated conditions, it draws 23.5 A from the line and delivers 17.0 A to the motor, which corresponds to 7.5 kW of mechanical output. Output frequency can be set from 0 Hz to 400 Hz, and the carrier frequency is fixed at 8.0 kHz to balance acoustic performance with switching loss. Speed references from Modbus or the front potentiometer are processed with a digital resolution of 0.01 Hz and a setpoint accuracy of 0.01%. V/F, sensorless vector, and field-oriented control modes are available, and the drive accepts a 1-second overload of 200% In. A built-in brake chopper dissipates surplus energy, and operating data is shown on an LCD panel.
The enclosure is rated IP20 and includes an EMC Class C3 filter for industrial environments. The drive provides up to 11.0 kVA of apparent power, and in FOC mode it can generate 200% at 0 Hz starting torque. With encoder feedback, the closed-loop vector range reaches 1000:1. Continuous operation is permitted up to +40 °C ambient and at installation altitudes of up to 1000 m. The B-frame housing measures 150 mm wide, 157 mm deep, and 330 mm high, and it weighs 4.9 kg.
