The FVCA01.1-30K0-3P4-MDA-LP-P002-01V01 frequency converter is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the FVCA Frequency Converters series. It is part of series line 01 and is used for variable-speed control in conveyors, pumps, and other three-phase motor loads. By rectifying and inverting the incoming mains supply, the drive provides programmable voltage-to-frequency output so the connected machine can maintain controlled operating speeds while reducing mechanical stress and unnecessary energy use.
It connects to three-phase mains between 380 and 480 V and operates at supply frequencies of 50/60 Hz. At a nominal voltage of 400 V, it draws 73.0 A and delivers a rated output current of 60.0 A to the motor while supplying 30.0 kW of shaft power. The maximum output frequency is 400 Hz, produced by an SVPWM pattern with a default carrier frequency of 3.0 kHz. Input analog frequency commands are held within 0.05% accuracy, while digital references have 0.01 Hz resolution with 0.01% tolerance. A PID regulator supports V/f, SVC, and FOC control modes, and an external resistor must be connected to the integrated brake chopper for dynamic stopping.
Frame size E gives the unit a width of 250 mm, a depth of 251.5 mm, and a height of 525 mm, while the enclosure weighs 22.0 kg. The enclosure has a protection class of IP 20, which suits installation in closed control cabinets, and the integrated Class C3 EMC filter helps limit conducted noise. Cooling airflow supports operation at installation altitudes up to 1000 m, and local access is available through an LCD panel, an onboard potentiometer, and a Modbus port. A status relay rated 230 VAC or 30 VDC at 3 A is included for signaling, and the drive supports a 1:1000 speed control range.
