The FVCA01.1-18K5-3P4-MNA-LP-P001-01V01 frequency converter is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the FVCA Frequency Converters series. Through Modbus communication, the unit exchanges commands with a PLC and conditions power from the three-phase mains so that induction or synchronous motors can run at commanded speeds. The assembly includes a front-panel potentiometer for manual speed trim, 24 VDC 8 mA digital inputs, an LCD display, and relay contacts rated 30 VDC 3 A. No line filter is fitted, and the internal brake chopper requires an external resistor.
Speed regulation is refined by space-vector PWM that runs at a default carrier of 6.0 kHz and provides frequency steps as small as 0.01 Hz. For analog reference channels, the converter presents a Vr1 input resistance of 100 kOhm, while current-mode inputs have 165 ohms of resistance. A transistor output can sink up to 50 mA for status signaling, and the unit can reach fundamental motor frequencies up to 400 Hz. Despite this capability, the package weighs only 16.5 kg, which helps simplify panel installation.
