Product Description:
The EFC5610-7K50-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN is a variable-speed drive from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the EFC Frequency Converters series and the EFC 5610 model family. As a member of product line 02, the unit has no built-in safety function and no variant-specific add-ons. It converts fixed mains power into a modulated output for asynchronous or permanent-magnet motors, allowing automation systems to regulate pump, fan, or conveyor speed without mechanical gear changes in process and material-handling equipment.
The converter is built on a Frame Size E mechanical platform and accepts a nominal input of 400 V (AC 380 to 480 V, -15% / +10%) on a three-phase supply. Torque production is managed by standard vector control SVC, while command signals enter through the Flex-Control with Standard I/O interface, which supports local digital and analog channels. In heavy-duty mode, the unit can deliver up to 7.5 kW of motor power, maintaining constant flux during low-speed operation. The standard control configuration is preset from the factory, so setup can begin without additional control options. The front has no display, and a dust cover replaces the keypad to help maintain cabinet sealing while the drive uses internal filtering for industrial installations.
Field integration is handled over Modbus, allowing polling of speed references or diagnostic words without proprietary software. The housing carries an IP 20 protection class, making it suitable for closed electrical enclosures where operator contact is restricted. An integrated RFI network qualified for Industrial area, class C3 helps keep conducted emissions within plant limits. Because the EMC filter and control logic are already embedded, only the mains, motor, and standard I/O need to be wired for setup, and the lack of a display does not prevent configuration with a laptop or handheld tool.
