The EFC5610-7K50-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN is a new generation frequency converter designed by Rexroth Indramat to carry out automation control in industrial production systems. This converter is widely renowned for its flexibility and its ability to operate in harsh industrial conditions. The EFC5610-7K50-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN frequency converter is a very flexible device that can meet the operational requirement of different types of industrial machines such as food processing machines, conveyor machines, and lots more. The efficiency of this frequency converter is as high as 95 percent, however, to protect the integrity of the converter operators should ensure it is operated according to the instructions stated in the controller’s documentation.
The EFC5610-7K50-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN industrial controller can stimulate industrial motors to generate a power output of about 7.5 kilowatts, the controller also features a three-phase industrial connector through which it receives electric current from the mains. Under normal operating conditions, the power supply frequency used by this controller falls between 50 to 60 Hartz and the output frequency of the converter is about 400 hertz. This converter contains an internal fan which helps to keep the heat generated by the converter within the permissible temperature range. The communication between this frequency converter and all other parts of the industrial servo system is controlled by the Modbus communication protocol. The housing of this converter provides it with protection according to the IP20 protection class, it is thus important for the operator to install the converter into an external control cabinet which provides the required additional protection.
This frequency converter is also an environmentally friendly device, it is manufactured with materials that are silicon and asbestos-free. The converter also contains a high metal content thus it can be recycled and used in the production of new industrial devices after its usefulness has been exhausted.
