The Bosch Rexroth EFC5610-45K0-3P4-MDA-7P-00002-L1NN is a frequency converter. It is loaded with the export version firmware (1000 Hertz output instead of 400 Hz output). Salient features of the converter include 45 kilowatts output power rating, 380 to 480 Volts AC input, safe torque off support, EMC filter, 7-segment display with potentiometer, SVC motor control algorithm, flex control with standard I/O and Modbus communication protocol. Environmental protection rating of the converter housing is IP20. Bosch recommends that the EFC5610-45K0-3P4-MDA-7P-00002-L1NN be installed vertically inside a suitable cabinet. Two 45 kilowatt converters that are installed adjacent to each other should be separated by a minimum horizontal spacing of 400 millimeters. Air guides are recommended by Bosch for use with converters installed in parallel rows to prevent hot air from the lower rows from entering the air inlet of the higher rows.
The shipment containing the converter should be checked to ensure that the converter complies with the ordered specifications. Damaged converters should not be installed. Converter operation as per manufacturer specifications requires -10 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature, elevation of less than 1000 meters and 90% maximum relative humidity.
