The EFC5610-1K50-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN is a frequency converter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the EFC Frequency Converters series. This drive modulates the output frequency supplied to induction motors, allowing speed and torque adjustment for conveyors, pumps, fans, and similar automated machinery. Intended for cabinet installation, the unit has a front dust cover, and local wiring connects through terminals on the top and bottom edges.
The converter accepts 400 V (AC 380…480 V -15 % / +10 %) input power, allowing direct connection to common industrial mains. In heavy-duty operation, the inverter supports motors up to 1.5 kW, which allows short-term overload capacity without immediate thermal shutdown. A balanced three-phase supply helps reduce current ripple, while Standard Vector control SVC maintains stable flux behavior so the motor can produce rated torque at low speed. Command and diagnostic data are exchanged through Modbus, which allows a PLC or other controller to send setpoints and read fault information without an added gateway. Flex-Control hardware also provides standard digital and analog I/O for start, stop, and speed reference signals when fieldbus control is not required.

A dedicated safety channel provides Safe Torque Off (STO), and when it is activated, the converter internally prevents motor torque generation so the connected machine can coast to a stop.
