The EFC5610-1K50-1P2-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN is used in an auto-tuning mode with a permanent magnetized synchronous motor (PMSM). Before switching the frequency converter to auto-tuning, ensure that the servo motor is not in operation. The power rating of the converter and the PMSM motor should also be almost at the same level. XLPE or EPR copper cables with 90 ℃ heat insulation are the ideal frequency converter power cables, as per the IEC60364-5-52 requirements. Guard the frequency converter with two different grounded conductors when working with double cords to connect the EFC converter to a power source. A length of 10mm should be maintained when stripping the converters' power and signal cables to avoid interference in the connection lines. Cable connections divested less than or exceeding the recommended distance may cause loose connections and a short circuit in the adjacent cord lines.
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the EFC frequency converter with an IP 20 protection class, which allows for mounting into a closed or control cabinet. The frequency converter is operated at an ambient temperature of -10°C to 45 °C with corresponding humidity of 90% without condensation. The EFC5610-1K50-1P2-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN is mounted vertically with a minimal 125mm air space if more than one frequency converter is used. The air space allows sufficient air circulation over the frequency converter hence cooling it during operation.
The EFC frequency converter is mounted using DIN rails or screws. Mount the frequency converter with the DIN rail through these steps; Hold both the converter and the DIN rail horizontally at the same level, slide the converters' upper component against the DIN rail until you hear a buckling sound. The clamp sound indicates a successful lock between the converter and the DIN rail. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
