Rexroth's EFC5610-18K5-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN frequency converter is an affordable and simple-to-use frequency converter. It is equipped with effective sensorless vector control (SVC) technology, which allows for high starting torque and an optimal torque curve during operation. The EFC5610-18K5-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN has a Safety Torque Off option which makes it suitable for safety-relevant applications. It features application-specific firmware and flexible expandability. Also, it comes equipped with an in-built brake chopper and mains filter. This unit finds application in heavy-duty (HD) mode.
This unit must be vertically installed at all times. The ambient temperature range for the Frequency Converter EFC 5610 is -10 to 55 degrees Celsius. Outside of this range, the frequency converter cannot be installed or operated. It is not necessary to derate when the surrounding temperature is between -10 and 45 degrees Celsius. However, if the ambient temperature is between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius, derating must be carried out as specified by the manufacturer. With derated data, the EFC5610-18K5-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-L1NN loses 1.5 % performance efficiency per 1o C.
