The EFC frequency converter is manufactured with a protection class of IP20 by Bosch Rexroth. The cooled with air from inside and outside the control cabinet or an integrated heat sink. Consider the following environmental conditions before installing the EFC3610-4K00-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN for better performance: relative humidity ≤ 90 % with no condensation, and an ambient temperature ranging from -10°C to 45 °C. The rated mounting altitude is less than or equal to 1,000m above sea level, and a de-rating elevation of 1 % per 100m (1,000 to 4,000m). The frequency converter has both analog and digital terminals. The analog terminal is connected to a grounded external power supply with a Voltage output of 0 to 10 V and an output current of 0 to 20mA. The frequency converter digital terminal is energized by a power supply of 24 VDC with a maximum output current of 100mA.
The EFC3610-4K00-3P4-MDA-NN-NNNNN-NNNN can be mounted through screws or a by using a DIN rail supplied as an accessory. A thermal compound paste is also used when mounting the cold plate of the frequency converter. To use the thermal compound paste, ensure that the converters heat sink and the mounting surface are free from dust, dirt, oil, and particles. A P12 thermal compound paste should be used and applied evenly with a thickness of 100μm.
The frequency converter output power is generated by pressing the run button on the control terminal. The out power is controlled by a potentiometer integrated into the frequency converter. The frequency converter is purchased with a dust cover. However, it is advisable to install a LED panel to be able to perform any settings. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
