The EFC3610-1K50-3P4-MDA-7P-NNNN-NNNN frequency converter is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the EFC Frequency Converters series. As a standalone AC drive, it turns fixed-frequency mains power into a variable output suited for regulating induction motor speed in pumps, fans, and material-handling equipment. By varying the motor’s electrical frequency, the device enables energy-saving process control, soft starting, and accurate torque adjustment without the need for mechanical throttling or gear changes in industrial automation. The converter is intended for cabinet installation inside control panels where space-constrained drives are required.

Incoming power is accepted at 400 V (AC 380...480 V -15% / +10%), a range that lets the drive operate on common industrial supply systems without additional transformers. Once energized, the converter modulates output with Enhanced V/Hz control, a scheme that keeps the volts-to-hertz ratio constant so motor flux stays stable under changing speed commands. I/O handling follows Flex-Control with Standard I/O, so terminals can be reassigned for run, direction, or speed reference signals while the overall control configuration remains standard.
