Product Description:
Manufactured by Bosch Indramat as part of its Servodyn-D series the DMA 140D 7101-D is an air cooled three phase module for both synchronous and asynchronous motors. The DMA 140D 7101-D is only available as the standard variant featuring CANrho interface with standard encoder interface. The DC link voltage for the DMA 140D 7101-D is rated as 670 VDC regulated and 715 VDC unregulated. Switching frequency for the DMA 140D 7101-D is 4 kHz and 8 kHz. The unit is rated for 42 A current at max Overload and 87 A at max Continuous load (4 kHz switching frequency).
The DMA 140D 7101-D has a power demand of 1.58 A from a 24 V supply module with max power loss of 700 W in the switch cabinet. The unit weighs 19.3 kg with 200 mm module width. The DMA 140D 7101-D has an IP 20 protection rating according to EN 60 529 and should only be installed in switch cabinets with an IP 54 protection rating. Dust filters must be installed at air entries and exits while the surrounding air must be kept free of contaminants like lye, acid, salts, metal vapors etc. The unit can resist shocks with no functional disturbances up to 15 g.
The DMA 140D 7101-D should only be operated within a temperature range of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius for optimal performance. Operation at higher temperatures will see drastic performance loss. Maximum altitude for rated data is 1000 m but the unit can be operated at elevations upwards of 3000 m albeit with prominent performance deviations from the given data. Wake Industrial also provides repair services in the event of damage. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
