The Servodyn-D inverter system comes with a modular design and is compatible with various interfaces. The DMA 085B 1301-D is a three phase module produced for speed, current, and position control in industrial motors. The module has an 8.9 A rated current and 35 A maximum current when operating at maximum overload at a 4 kHz frequency. The maximum current reduces to 28 A and the continuous current increases to 18 A when operating under maximum continuous load.
This device can be connected with the Sercos interface via an incremental encoder, a sine encoder, or a cosine encoder. The DMA 085B 1301-D has many additional advantages because of the Sercos interface. When using the interface, the position, current, and speed controllers have a cycle time of 500, 250, and 125 microseconds. Fast response times are ensured when using this interface and interference immunity is maximized because of optical waveguides. This three phase module comes with a backplane that enables the inverter module to be directly plugged in. The device has a width of 50 mm and stands 521 mm tall.
