The DMA 045A 7101-D model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat for controlling the different functions of synchronous and asynchronous motors. The three-phase inverter system is equipped with digital closed-loop control for controlling the position, speed, and current. The model provides high functional reliability when used together with the synchronous motors. The model helps in developing an energy-efficient inverter system for the clients. The three-phase inverter module provides maintenance-free operations when used according to the prescribed instructions. The model operates at the supply voltage of 670 VDC supplied by a regulated power supply or 715 VDC supplied by a non-regulated power supply. The 4 kHz model required 23 A of rated current and 39 A of maximum current during continuous load whereas, it requires 10 A of rated current and 51 A of maximum current during overloading condition. The 8 kHz model operates at the rated current of 15 A and maximum current of 31 A during continuous loading conditions and during overloading conditions, it operates at the continuous current of 6.1 A with the maximum current requirement of 44 A.
The model DMA 045A 7101-D is typically used for machine tools, robotics, printing machines, and mounting systems. The model is equipped with CANrho protocol and a standard encoder interface. The standard encoder is used for the transmission of actual position values. The model comes in IP20 protection rating and it should be mounted into the control cabinet of at least IP 54 protection category.
