Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DMA 045A 5111-D, a member of the DMA Servo Drive Modules series. The unit is a three-phase module for synchronous and asynchronous motors and is intended to supply controlled current, velocity, and position commands for a single mechanical axis. Within an automation cell, it combines power conversion with one-axis positioning so motion and feedback functions can be integrated into a compact backplane slot.

The module draws 1.32 A from the 24 V logic supply, which is the load placed on the control cabinet power rail. Internally, a non-regulated DC link of 715 VDC is stabilized to 670 VDC by the drive electronics, and that regulated level is suitable for field-oriented control of the connected motor. If ambient temperature rises above 45 °C, output is automatically reduced by 0.65 A/K up to 55 °C to protect internal components. Single-turn encoder data are processed with 20 bits of precision, supplementing the multi-turn channel. The module has a width of 49 mm, along with a depth of 288 mm and a height of 504 mm for control cabinet installation. The Standard Variant heat-sink package supports the unit's one-axis positioning function.
