The Bosch DMA 045A 1301-D is a Servodyn-D series three-phase module. This series of modules can be ordered with a wide range of interfaces and encoder interfaces. The DMA 045A 1301-D includes a SERCOS interface and supports resolver based feedback. Servodyn-D modules are available in widths ranging from 50 to 300 millimeters. The width of the DMA 045A 1301-D is 50 millimeters, is height is 520 millimeter and its depth is 288 millimeters. Servodyn-D modules are available in air-cooled and water cooled versions. The DMA 045A 1301-D is an air cooled device which requires 0 to 45 degrees ambient temperature for optimal performance. A minimum clearance of 100 millimeters is recommended by Bosch on the bottom and top sides of the mounted three-phase module. Output current rating of the module is 45 Amps at 2 kilohertz switching frequency.
Housing of the DMA 045A 1301-D has IP 20 protection rating as per EN 60 529. Bosch recommends installation of the module inside an industrial switch cabinet with IP 54 protection rating. The cabinet should have dust filters installed at all air entry and exit points. Air which surrounds the module should be clear of corrosive materials, salt, metal vapors, lye and acid. Climatic category of the DMA 045A 1301-D is 3K3 as per EN 60 721. The recommended temperature range for storage of unused three phase modules is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. Shock rating for the module is 15 g as per DIN IEC 68-2-27 with no functional disturbance. Vibration rating for the DMA 045A 1301-D is 1 millimeters displacement at 2 to 13.2 Hertz. The module can be operated at up to 1000 meters altitude without derating, and at up to 3000 meters with derating.
