The DMA 045A 1101-D is a three-phase module with 45 Amps current rating. It is designed and manufactured by Bosch for the digital control of asynchronous and synchronous motors. The faultless and safe functioning of the module requires proper transport, storage, mounting and operation. Programming, start-up and operation of the device should be reserved for properly trained personnel. Interventions in the software and hardware of the module are reserved for specialized personnel from the manufacturer only. Any tampering with the software and hardware can result in serious injury or equipment damage. All maintenance work should be performed after the power to the DMA 045A 1101-D has been switched off. Furthermore, to allow the internal components to discharge, all maintenance activities should be started at least 5 minutes after the power has been switched off.
The DMA 045A 1101-D is a convection cooled device. Ambient temperatures lying between 32 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit are recommended for its operation. The output of the module will reduce from rated values for temperatures that lie outside this range. At 131 degrees Celsius, the output will derate by 20% from its rated value. The output of the DMA 045A 1101-D will also derate if it is installed at altitudes that exceed 3300 feet above sea level. At 16500 feet the module output will derate by 35% from its rated value. Integrated features available on the DMA 045A 1101-D include a SERCOS interface and a standard encoder interface. Weight of the DMA 045A 1101-D is 7.3 kilograms. The module dimensions are: 520 millimeters height, 50 millimeters width and 208 millimeters depth. Housing of the three-phase module has IP 20 protection rating.
