The DM 8K 6311-D is a three-phase module that is installed in the Servodyn-D inverter system. The Servodyn-D inverter system is a reliable platform for highly precise motion control applications where accurate control over speed, current, and position is required. The inverter has a compact geometry and is easily installed in a control cabinet having a 300 mm depth. The device is a proven platform when used in combination with synchronous SF motors, synchronous SR motors, linear synchronous motors, DU asynchronous motors, and built in motors. The system meets the highest demands when it comes to position control, speed setting range, synchronizing, and dynamics. The DM 8K 6311-D is a supportive subsystem with this inverter and outputs a maximum of 300 A.
The DM 8K 6311-D has a 430 mm height and a 50 mm width which gives it a compact geometry. The system is provided a DC link connection through busbars. This device is supported by the Sercos interface that is a smart communication protocol developed for seamless communication between the control units and drives. In addition, the interface ensures very high speed response and allows processing setpoints and actual values within the same cycle. Various drive operating modes are possible when using this system and complete protection is provided against electromagnetic interference in communication channels. This device is also provided a supply module that comes with an internal and external ballast switch.
