The DM 30K 7101-D is a three-phase module from Bosch Rexroth. It is designed for synchronous / asynchronous motor operation and is one of the major components of ServoDyn-D digital inverters. Three-phase modules are available air cooled and water cooled versions. The DM 30K 7101-D is an air cooled module. Several interfaces can be available on three-phase modules including SERCOS interface, 12-bit analog interface, 16-bit analog interface, 24 Volt control signal interface, ProfiBus DP interface and CANopen interface. The DM 30K 7101-D comes with a CANrho interface. Three-phase modules can support additional functionality such as one axis positioning. However the DM 30K 7101-D does not support additional functionality. Three-phase modules can be available in standard, master / slave drive and manual mode with lower voltage variants. The DM 30K 7101-D is a standard variant module.

Encoder interfaces which can be available on the three-phase modules include no encoder, standard encoder, gear encoder and resolver. The DM 30K 7101-D comes with a standard encoder interface. Maximum current rating of the module is 30 Amps. The module can automatically reduce or increase the current level depending upon ambient conditions. Maximum installation altitude recommended by Bosch for the DM 30K 7101-D is 1000 meters. The maximum ambient temperature without derating is 113 degrees Fahrenheit. For storage, unused modules should be kept in an environment where the temperature is maintained between -13 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit and which is free of corrosive elements, metal vapors, acid and dust. Protection rating of the DM 30K 7101-D module housing is IP20. For deployment of the module an industrial cabinet with IP54 rating is recommended.
