The DM 30K 6311-D is a standard variant 3-phase module for Servodyn-D digital inverter systems. It is designed for industrial environments and should not be connected to low voltage, medium voltage or high-voltage public supplies. Use of the module as per Bosch guidelines will minimize risk of equipment and property damage and prevent personnel injury and death. Use of this Class A device in residential area may lead to radio interference. Long term and reliable operation of the DM 30K 6311-D requires proper storage, handling, installation and operation. Only well trained and experienced personnel should be involved in the installation and any subsequent maintenance of the module and associated machinery. Industry and local regulations should be followed during installation and commissioning of the module. The system must be de-energized before any work is performed.

The DM 30K 6311-D is an air cooled device. To enable smooth airflow Bosch recommends provision of a minimum of 100 millimeters of clearance around a mounted device. Working temperature range for the module is 32 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit. The module can be operated with derating beyond this temperate range. Current rating of the DM 30K 6311-D is 30 Amps. The module reduces current depending on ambient temperature. The regulated and un-regulated DC link voltages are 670 and 715 Volts DC. Standard features available on the module are one axis positioning, resolver interface for feedback and ProfiBus DP.
