The DKS1.1 drive unit play a vital role in developing a sustainable and fully automated motion control system. These drive unit are used in combination with MDD digital AC servo motors to form a complete drive unit. Bosch Rexroth is a famous manufacturer for these devices. The DKS1.1-W030B-RA01-0 model is designed to be installed in a separate control cabinet or protected housing. Owing to its IP10 degree of protection, the drive unit is safe up to extrinsic object greater than 50mm diameter. The ‘0’ denotes that it should be kept from water and moisture condensation. The Indramat DKS1.1 intelligent servo drive unit comes with a resolver feedback system. It is engineered for a rated and maximum current of 30 A. During continuous operation, it requires 15 A current with 18 kHz PWM frequency. It can be powered using a three-phase or single-phase power supply unit. At maximum drive loading, 4-5 kW of power is required. The internal DC bus voltages are 300 V. The bleeder continuous power is 0.3 kW while the bleeder peak power is 5 kW. The DKS1.1 intelligent servo drive offers 230 W of power loss at peak loading excluding power loss at bleeder. If needed to store the drive unit, the location should be kept dry and within a temperature range of -30 to +85 degree Celsius. The model DKS1.1-W030B-RA01-0 can be installed at a height of 1000 meters above sea level. It comes with an insulation class C as per DIN 570. To avoid noise in the signals, the power cables should be kept at a distance. The connection point for control inputs ZKS, AUS and EIN is X9. The connection point X4 is designated for motor feedback.
