The unit modulates a pulse-width-controlled output in response to encoder data so motor torque and velocity follow programmed setpoints with high repeatability. This allows the drive to support positioning and speed-regulated tasks where stable response and accurate feedback are required.
The drive operates from a three-phase supply of 3 × 230 V AC, and this input is rectified to a stabilized DC bus of 300 V for the inverter stage. It delivers a continuous output of 50 A, and its gate logic switches at 4 kHz to shape sinusoidal motor currents while helping limit audible noise.
