The DKS01.2-W100A-DL04-01-FW is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It converts incoming power into regulated three-phase output for servo motors, allowing motion controllers to command precise torque and speed in automated assembly cells, packaging lines, and material-handling equipment. Power conversion, regenerative braking support, and status signaling are integrated in one chassis, which helps reduce external hardware. This arrangement allows one compact unit to manage motor output and return energy during deceleration. The drive is intended for cabinet installation as part of a coordinated servo system.

The drive operates from a 3 × 230 V AC supply, which is rectified to an internal DC bus of 300 V for the inverter stage. It can supply a continuous armature current of 100 A, and its bleeder network can absorb regenerative energy with a short-term load of 18 kW. The output bridge switches at 4 kHz, which keeps current control stable while limiting switching losses. The integrated bleeder helps control bus voltage when the motor returns energy to the drive during braking. Excluding the bleeder, thermal dissipation is 480 W and is transferred through the rear heat sink. The start-inhibit circuit draws 1.5 W, and the ready contact is rated at 24 V DC and 1 A for interlock functions.

Continuous braking duty is supported by a bleeder rating of 0.5 kW. The unit is approved for ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and installation altitudes to 1000 m. Its enclosure has an IP10 protection level, so the drive should be mounted inside a cabinet with forced convection. Because the housing is intended for protected installation, exposed machine mounting is not appropriate. Encoder feedback cables can extend to 75 m, which supports remotely mounted motors and gives more freedom in cabinet placement. The X9 auxiliary supply provides 24 V DC at 625 mA for external sensors, and the noise emission is standard.
