The DKS01.1-W100A-RL08-01-FW is a digital servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. Version 1 of this controller conditions three-phase mains power and directs it through a resolver interface to a servomotor, delivering closed-loop velocity and position control for automated transfer lines, pick-and-place modules, and CNC auxiliary axes. By using internal pulse-width switching and a dedicated bleeder resistor, the unit regulates motor torque and safely dissipates regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration.

It accepts a three-phase 3 x 230 V AC (±10%) source at the industrial standard 50–60 Hz range and converts it to a 300 V DC link for the inverter stage. Under steady loading the current delivered to the motor windings is 50 A, while the design allows excursions to 100 A; this figure serves both as the rated and peak limit before thermal or electronic protection intervenes. Installation limits start with an operating window of +5 to +45 °C; above this range output must be derated but functionality is maintained up to +55 °C. Storage is safe between −30 °C and +85 °C, and altitude is restricted to 1000 m to ensure adequate air density for convection cooling. Protection category IP10 requires placement inside a closed electrical cabinet, yet permits quick heat transfer through the open top grille. Resolver feedback guarantees commutation accuracy, and the standard noise class is maintained when the unit operates within its thermal envelope.
