Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W100A-RL01-00 is a digital servo drive produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It serves as the axis power stage in automated machinery, converting incoming three-phase mains power into controlled motor current for closed-loop motion on positioning and velocity-controlled axes. Resolver feedback supplies position information to the control loop, and the drive exchanges this data with the machine controller so motor response remains synchronized with commanded movement.
The drive is supplied from a three-phase line at 3 x 230 V AC, and this input is rectified to a DC bus maintained at 300 V. During continuous duty, it delivers 50 A to the motor, and the electronics modulate that current at 4 kHz to support smooth torque production with low ripple. An internal braking resistor dissipates regenerated energy, absorbing 0.5 kW continuously and up to 18 kW in short bursts during deceleration. The housing has an IP10 rating for cabinet installation, and the unit also includes resolver feedback, 15 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, and an encoder-synchronous PWM structure for direct integration with the surrounding machine control.
Total internal losses reach 480 W, and at maximum electrical load the converter processes 11 kVA. The control section stores up to 3000 Blocks of motion code, allowing the drive to execute local positioning tasks without constant PLC intervention. Version 1 manages I/O scanning and oversamples the resolver to refine position data before vector control closes the loop. Passive heat dissipation removes heat from the power modules, and continuous operation is supported by a 100 A rated current envelope together with a 100 A peak current ceiling for acceleration commands. Standard acoustic emission keeps the unit suited to enclosed cabinet operation.
