Product Description:
The DKS01.1-W100A-RA02-01 is part of the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It connects the plant's three-phase mains to a resolver-equipped servo motor and converts fixed-frequency input power into a variable output for accurate motion control in tooling, conveyors, and feeders. Control electronics, the power stage, and diagnostic functions are integrated into one housing, which reduces separate components in the cabinet and keeps signal paths short. Because motion commands and diagnostic monitoring are handled in the same unit, the drive can report operating status while continuing to regulate the connected axis. This arrangement supports repeatable positioning and speed regulation in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines where coordinated axis response is required.
The power section accepts a three-phase supply of 3 x 230 V AC and rectifies it to a DC bus of 300 V. The DC bus then feeds the inverter stage so the motor receives controlled voltage and current instead of raw mains frequency. Under nominal demand, the inverter can deliver up to 11 kVA, and its continuous line current is limited to 100 A. Pulse-width modulation operates at 4 kHz, which supports controlled motor current delivery while keeping switching behavior predictable. Internal dissipation reaches 480 W, so cabinet airflow must remove the generated heat during continuous operation. Resolver feedback closes the control loop, and the noise emission is standard for equipment installed near operators.
Excess kinetic energy is absorbed by an integrated resistor rated for 0.5 kW continuously and up to 18 kW during abrupt deceleration. This braking function helps limit DC bus rise when the motor returns energy during stopping. Cooling is done by heat dissipation, and the enclosure has IP10 protection without the use of external fans. The drive can operate at elevations up to 1,000 m above sea level and maintains full output until the ambient temperature reaches 55 °C, after which derating applies. Humidity class F supports use in high-moisture environments, and the unit is version 1.
