The DKS01.1-W100A-RA01-02-FW is a digital servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and positioned within the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. The unit operates as the power and control interface between a servo motor and higher-level machine logic, converting three-phase supply power into pulse-width-modulated output for precise motion in automated assembly lines, packaging equipment, and printing systems. In servo applications, it regulates motor current so commanded speed and position can be followed with repeatable accuracy during acceleration, constant-speed operation, and deceleration. Version 1 control architecture supports parameter adjustment for changing load conditions, and the compact housing has an IP 10 protection class.

A 300 V DC link is maintained, while a bleeder resistor dissipates 0.5 kW continuously and tolerates 18 kW peaks to absorb regenerated energy during rapid stops. Passive heat dissipation handles the resulting 480 W loss, and the noise emission is standard. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C and at installation elevations up to 1000 m. The IP 10 housing is intended for installation inside a filtered electrical cabinet, where the surrounding enclosure provides additional protection against dust and accidental contact. Within those operating conditions, the cooling method depends on cabinet ventilation and mounting space rather than an onboard fan. Three-phase input phasing helps maintain balanced loading on the facility distribution system, and the internal DC bus supports energy sharing with other drives on the same rail. This makes the unit suitable for cabinet-based multi-axis systems that use a common power structure.
