Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat’s DKS01.1-W100A-RA01-00 is a digital servo drive in the DKS Intelligent Digital Servo Drives series. It regulates torque and velocity for synchronous and induction motors used in automated machinery, where stable current control is required for repeatable axis motion. The unit converts incoming three-phase mains power into a controlled output stage for motor operation. Its integrated power section and processor support closed-loop motion control while the drive exchanges signals with external control systems. This arrangement suits machine axes that need coordinated speed and torque regulation under changing load conditions.
The drive operates from a three-phase supply of 3 x 230 V AC (±10%) and can deliver up to 100 A to the motor path. A bleeder circuit dissipates regenerative energy at 0.5 kW continuously and can absorb short peaks of 18 kW during rapid deceleration, which helps prevent DC-bus overvoltage. The DC link is held at 300 V so the IGBT output stage can maintain stable modulation during load changes. Heat is removed through passive cooling, and power loss at rated operation is limited to 480 W. Command input is handled through an analog incremental encoder interface, while rotor position feedback is provided by an RSF resolver.
The unit has a facility power demand of 11 kVA and can be connected to standard 230 V industrial feeders without requiring an unusually large supply branch. It can operate continuously at ambient temperatures up to +45 °C, and operation can continue up to +55 °C when output current is reduced. Installations are permitted at elevations up to 1000 m, where air density still supports the intended cooling method. The enclosure is rated IP10, so the drive must be mounted inside a switchgear cabinet that provides debris shielding and operator protection. Noise emission is standard for typical cabinet-mounted industrial drive applications.
